This display of crosses and flags was erected at the Oasis golf course in Miami Township in preparation for a fund raising dinner put on by the Yellow Ribbon Support Center. The dinner is an annual event, and in 2008 it came on the heals of the discovery in Iraq of the remains of missing American soldier SSGT. Keith Matthew Maupin who had been missing for four years after the convoy he was guarding came under attack.
